Mike hurts me – today brand our pinion of course Bob today we're gonna talk about the single best weight loss tip ever given that's quite a claim it is it is how can we make such a claim well how can we say it's the best one ever given well we're gonna give the the single best weight loss tip that has worked for me mm-hmm and we're giving it's a single best weight loss that has worked tip for Dennis work for Brad but more what you want but no we're gonna do more Brad this is a we're asking for our viewers help this is a partition participation video sure so down below we want you to give simple for me I just reduced the number of carbs I and I I'm not on the keto diet I just I was a carb fiend and I went from having way too many carbs to cutting him down and I I wasn't even trying to lose weight I know people hate to hear this I know but I probably drives him crypt bonkers even I lost 20 pounds not trying I mean just and it was right here yeah I mean so but to refine that a little bit more even I want you to try what I do is focused on carbs with a high glycemic index so I think sometimes we gotta clarify what carbs and I thought curves meant like you know bread but it you know vegetables occur a fruit is a car a fruit is everything that carb except for meat love vegetables you lose your carbohydrates it's more veterans but um well I'm looking for and and you may want to look this up on online you're looking for the of the the foods that have a high GI glycemic index sir and those are loans with the glucose or sugar in the bloodstream and what they're those ones that have a high index they're gonna put that that sugar right into your bloodstream which is going to contribute to weight gain contribute to the possibility of diabetes it's just not a good thing so if you get a the number of a hundred on the glycemic index that's pure glucose pure sugar that goes right into your bloodstream well that's like granulated sugar you're like what I know Reich and your cookies right exactly the other the problem thing is that processed foods Brad will put sugar into your bloodstream faster so that's why we we recommend you know you want to eat like like white bread right white bread was 70 okay I'm the scale so that's high macaroni and cheese 64 so pancakes this was one of my we've talked about this my downfalls 67 and now does that include the syrup that does not include the circle doesn't mind yeah so and I would fired I was telling Brad that this actually happened used to happen to me when I did pancakes just pancakes I think it would shoot my insulin up and then my blood sugar would drop actually and I'd feel dizzy and after I ate pancakes I mean I would lose my energy I'd start sweating oh wow yeah it was it was quite a deal how many's are you eating Wow a lot cuz I like pancakes take a peg for Gail – surabaya there we go so that's my one tip let's you know do you reduce your carbohydrates especially the ones with uh the highest glycemic what were the ones that in particular be cakes for me it was pasta past a lot of time a lot of types of pasta really I really potato starchy but this one this book and I'm not necessarily recommending it's called a low GI diet revolution it's an older book but it has a nice chart on the end but you can find all this stuff online now sure yeah alright Brad what's your one tip well I really it's really – it's ice cream was a big thing if there's ice cream in the house especially his chocolate with peanut butter and chocolate in it I mean they were done right but I did reduce from a bowl like this to a smaller bowl but I heaped it up a little higher around it huh and then also bread – Brad yeah yeah because if I had something that if either egg in the morning I had an egg sandwich always cuz I could then I would put a bunch of those fun stuff in there that would be ketchup mustard cheese mail all that stuff make a wonderful sandwich and if I have a bright you know big brat bun so basically those two things if you want to transition away from the bun by the way you can do is just take the top off first you know I mean if you all just not eat the top it's just a way to try to work your way away from right now I like when we have barbecues and stuff like that a lot of people aren't eating the bunts now yeah a lot of people are just eating the the broader eating the hot dog or hamburger and typically the lot of the white bread that you buy so processed that right nothing it's like eating a Martian well yeah white bread 70 so you're basically we're kind of on the same line as I was you were more in your carbs macro kind of alluded to the other thing bread you know one of the great tip is not you know obviously the battle occurs and in the grocery store doesn't it I mean if you buy it and you take it home you're gonna eat it oh if I know it's there yep yeah yeah because it's the kitchen it's my kitchen well it's my wife's kitchen but you know I know where the stuff is too right and so yeah you gotta locked up it's easy for me to say no at the store first I mean I could wipe by the ice cream and I easily could say no but at home hungry at night and that's what I used to eat it right before bed right so uh so how much weight did you lose bread well you know I was is about 15 to 20 okay 20 at the most okay unless he went from my peak after Chris that's what I'm saying about Christmas then it was 25 to 30 but you know in the past few weeks I've gained a little if you noticed I've been having a little bit of fun I'm gonna say something but I gotta get
